CODE OF CONDUCT FOR
Horne Memorial Youth
1. The purchase, possession or consumption/use of alcoholic beverages or other illegal drugs will not be tolerated.
2. Failure to comply will result in immediate dismissal from Horne Memorial Youth Program. This policy also applies to adult volunteers and chaperones.
3. No one will be allowed to smoke cigarettes or to use tobacco products, including chewing tobacco.
4. Participants are expected to obey the directions of adults in charge (youth small group leaders, chaperones etc.).
5. Participants are representing Horne Memorial Church and Youth Group. Appropriate behavior and language are expected.
6. No dangerous or rough play will be tolerated.
I will respect my fellow youth members at all times. I will respect the facilities we use at church and at youth events.
I will respect the youth planning committee, and I understand that they have worked very hard planning events for fun and fellowship. I will respect the rules that they have made for us to follow.
Final decisions regarding acceptable behavior/consequences are the decision of the Youth Director and/or Chaperones. In general, if the behavior of a youth results in his/her dismissal from the Youth Program, it is the responsibility of the parents/legal guardians to provide, at their own expense, transportation for the dismissed child. If a child is dismissed from an off-site event and an adult chaperone must accompany the child home, the parents/legal guardians are responsible for any related expenses.
