SARAH CIRCLE
The Sarah Circle has had another great year serving our Lord and Savior. Members of our circle donated time, money, and talents to paint the nursery and adjoining restroom. A friend of one of our members, painted the inspiring mural. We have several more members that are in the process of painting the mural for the restroom. We have more updates for the nursery coming soon. There is a wish list on the door to the nursery if you would like to help us!
This year we met our annual pledge for the Haiti Orphanage, contributed to MeFine Foundation, and Harbor House. We also are collecting baby items for the New Hope Pregnancy Center. There is a collection box in the walk way if you would like to help us. We are collecting new and gently used baby items and clothes up to 24 months and new or gently used maternity clothes. In the fall, we will be hosting a parents night out on November 7th. Look for more details in the upcoming months.
We always welcome new members. We normally meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 at different restaurants in the area. If you would like to join us please contact Sara Barrett at 919-553-9789 or paisleyaly(at)embarqmail.com to see which restaurant we are meeting at that month.

Greetings:
There is a new circle being formed in the Horne United Methodist Women’s (UMW) organization and you are invited to join us.
We will be the Tabitha Circle and we will shape our purpose in a Christ centered-Tabitha inspired passion for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
"…There was a believer named Tabitha. She was always doing kind things for others and helping the poor. . . . She became ill and died…Peter knelt and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, "Get up, Tabitha." And she opened her eyes. When she saw Peter, she sat up! He gave her his hand and helped her up." Acts 9:36-43
Are you spiritually ill and dying and need to be resurrected from the darkness?
Are you willing to be Peter and offer a hand to help others get up and live again in the name of Jesus Christ?
We are the new life of Tabitha.
This circle will not have monthly meetings, but will attend the UMW General meetings which are scheduled four times a year and we will get together as needed to plan and execute our missions. We will communicate by email and we will send out a monthly or bi-monthly devotion and update on what is happening in our circle.
Our first project will be a devotional calendar. We have already started but need your ideas and passion to get it completed. The children in the Haiti Orphanage have been asked to assist us with pictures and their devotions. The proceeds from this project will go towards the Haiti Orphanage and other missions supported by the UMW
To join our circle, we ask
That you have a true desire to become a circle of women who share a passion for Christ and for each other.
That you pray for each other, daily, and greet each other in fellowship at church.
That you participate by e-mail.
That you encourage each other and hold each other accountable.
That you take ownership in our group and our mission.
Because we are a part of UMW, we encourage you to donate at least $20.00 each year as a pledge to the global missions of our organization and participate in events sponsored by the UMW when possible.
God gave us Tabitha for a reason. She is an example of what he desires from us. I think she is worthy as our teacher. Is it not amazing that after thousands of years, she is still making an impact on women all over the world!?!
