Thursday, February 11, 2010. Ron’s Barn in Coats, NC, for dinner and entertainment. Departing from the church at 5:00PM. We will be taking the church vans. Make your reservations with Jean Langley at 934-6735 or Berneice Jones at 553-7648 by Monday, February 8th.
Tuesday, March 23, 2010, 12:30 PM. Covered Dish Lunch and a program in Fellowship Hall. Need volunteers to arrange or present a program or entertainment.
Saturday, March 27, 2010. Attend “Church Basement Ladies” at JCC Auditorium. Church vans leaving the church at 1:00 PM to attend the 2:00 PM performance of this “Wickedly Funny” and “Smorgasbord of tasty treats” musical comedy. After the performance we will go to Golden Corral for dinner. Ticket price $27.50. Group discount if we have more than 10. Send check for undiscounted price to Bob Horton at 104 Foxglove Drive, Garner, NC 27529 by March 1st. Cash back if we get a group rate.
Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Day trip to Wilmington including narrated Trolley Tour of Historic Wilmington ($11) followed by lunch at a riverside restaurant. After lunch, choice of visiting the Railroad Museum ($7), walking in Airlie Gardens ($5), or shopping at the Cotton Exchange. Church vans will leave Horne at 8:00 AM. Back by 7:00 PM. May, 2010. Tour the New Addition at the North Carolina Museum of Art. See the new building and exhibits, and tour the special exhibits in the old building. Day and time to be announced. Lunch afterwards. Thurston Perry is coordinating.
