ALL CLASSES ARE FREE.

Praise Dance - This class will include several forms of dance such as lyrical, interpretive sign, hip hop, and props.  Traditional hymns and Contemporary Christian music will be used.  Prayer and devotion time will be a part of the worship experience.  Dancers will have the opportunity to present their dances to different churches and at various events.  If a dancer chooses to dance at a church worship service, the dancer will need to purchase a costume (dance dress about $45).  If a dancer chooses to dance at an outside event, the dancer will need to purchase black capris/pants/etc., a T-shirt (about $5), black jazz shoes (about $20), and props that are used.  Financial assistance is available.

Praise Dance II - This class will be much like regular praise dance, but barre work and technique will be stressed, and routines will be more difficult. Ballet shoes are required. Clogging For Christ I (Beginner) - This class will teach basic clogging terminology (basic, triple, fancy double, etc.). Contemporary Christian music will be used, and the lyrics will be discussed as they relate to scripture.  Clogging shoes are optional for the class.  If cloggers choose to dance at an event, they will need to purchase clogging shoes and a T-shirt.

Clogging For Christ II (Intermediate) - This class will follow the same format as Clogging For Christ I, but intermediate steps will be incorporated into the routines and drag slide clogging will be taught.

Clogging For Christ III (Advanced) - Dancers must audition for this group because it will include advanced level clogging skills such as buck style clogging, double-doubles, etc.  Interested dancers should attend a Clogging For Christ I or II class to demonstrate clogging ability.  Expense and expectations for this group include regular attendance, clogging shoes, costume, participation at State Fair in October, participation in Hickory Hoedown in November, and other events that arise.  This group will have the opportunity to minister through their music and message as they attend various events.
