5:00-5:45  Contemporary Christian Clogging (beginner/intermediate)

5:45-6:30   Praise Dance 7th grade and up

6:30-7:00   Adult Praise Dance

7:00-7:45   Praise Dance 1st through 6th grade

7:45-8:30   Rhythm with a Reason Clogging Team (Advanced)

Praise Dance (all levels)  This class will include several forms of dance such as lyrical, interpretive sign, hip hop, and props.  Traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music will be used.  Prayer and devotion time will be part of the experience.  Dancers will have the opportunity to present their dances to different churches and at various events. If a dancer chooses to dance at a worship service, the dancer will need to purchase a costume (dance dress about $40).  If a dancer chooses to dance at an outside event, the dancer will need to purchase black capris/pants, a t-shirt, black jazz shoes, and props that may be required.  Financial assistance is available.

Contemporary Christian Clogging (Beginner/Intermediate) This class will teach basic clogging terminology and clogging style.  Contemporary Christian music will be used, and the lyrics will be discussed as they relate to scripture.  Clogging shoes are optional for the class.  If cloggers choose to dance at an event, they will need to purchase clogging shoes and a t-shirt.

Clogging Team (Advanced)  Dancers must audition for this group.  Interested dancers should attend a Clogging Class to demonstrate clogging ability.  Expense and expectations for this group include regular attendance, clogging shoes, costume, participation at State Fair in October, participation in Hickory Hoedown in November, and other events that arise.  This group will have the opportunity to minister through their music and message as they attend various events.
