It was my joy to move to Horne Memorial UMC in June 2011.  As you join us at Horne, I hope you find what I have -- a welcoming and warm congregation.

I enjoy being in ministry alongside each person as we strive together to discern God's preferred vision and future for Horne.  It is my hope that we will not just seek to be the best church in Clayton, but the best church for the people of Clayton.

Please allow me the privilege of introducing my family:

I am privileged to have my wonderful wife, Sarah, of 23 years by my side.  We have two daughters, Rebecca and Mary Catherine.  To round out the mix in our house we also have a 12 year old golden retriever named Bo, and a 10 year old cat named Zelda.

Education:

My undergrad work was completed at Randolph-Macon College, Ashland, VA.  Prior to attending seminary, I completed an MBA at East Carolina University.  I then received my MDiv from The Divinity School and Duke University.
